We had a slight communication error about the Lora Zombie Lemon exclusive tees, so they won’t be available the Holiday party tomorrow night at the Chicago location. BUT, I made up for it. That’s the picture of the first Marauder hoodie of the assembly line - the sample. We’ll all look at it together tomorrow. And if you buy something tomorrow, during the party, you’ll enter a raffle to win the sample. So you’ll be rocking the Maruader hoodie before Pete and I even get one. You win.

Tom Stevens
Housemates Andy Hurley (FALL OUT BOY), Kyle Johnson (bass for MISERY SIGNALS), Ryan Morgan (guitar for MISERY SIGNALS), Stu Ross (guitar for MISERY SIGNALS) and Matt Mixon (of now defunct 7 ANGELS 7 PLAGUES) have played shows together or with each other over the years. Currently, the group has gathered to work on a new musical project, BURNING EMPIRES. Described as a crusty hard-charging hardcore punk with nary a melodic or metal shred in site, the BURNING EMPIRES guys have already turned heads with the music they’ve created in the past, but these guys are storming the new music scene with the release of their first 7 inch, a tour of Australia, and their own clothing line.
Offering their fans a little slab of vinyl is commendable; it shows they’re down to Earth and still paying attention to the underground music scene. Let’s not forget about where hardcore, punk and metal began! The bulk of the songwriting is done by Ross, and vocals and lyrics are by Morgan. Ross says, “musically I wanted to do a band in relation to MISERY SIGNALS, a more punky hardcore version influenced by bands like PROPAGHANDI, COMEBACK KID and CURSED. Basically whenever we write a song we live by the mantra fast, pissed and evil.”
These guys refer to themselves as the Fuck City crew which seems to be turning into an empire in itself. Fuck City Records is expected to release a few of their side projects in 2010, and their clothing line spawned somewhat accidentally into a serious business venture. Initially these guys made some hoodies for themselves and locals, but many more took interest. They began offering them on their web site, but true in true Fuck City form, many stores could not carry them because of the expletive. So the group is unveiling three new designs without the word “Fuck” on them. The Fuck City web site also has forums where these guys regularly throw down over social issues.
The first 7 inch from BURNING EMPIRES features the two tracks, "Hearts First Into Hell" and “Disavowel", both of which are now available. Australian tour dates are posted on myspace and the Fuck City website features the band’s offerings and all news related to the Fuck City crew. Follow them on myspace at www.myspace.com/burningempiresmilwaukee and be sure to check out the website www.fc666.com
Friends Or Enemies are auctioning off a handful of items to help Jordan Pundik's (New Found Glory) mother. 100% of the proceeds to help out Jordan and his family.
His mom, Maureen, is really sick and we’re trying to raise money to help cover her medical expenses. On Friday, November 27th, she was rushed to Broward General Medical Center CVICU due to a sudden, unidentified infection which has severely weakened her heart. She is in critical, yet stable condition with only 10% of her heart working on it's own, and may need a transplant. Because Maureen is with out insurance, things are moving real slow and against the clock.
The folks who make some of the signature instruments for the Fall Out Boys (Fender, Gretch, and c&c) were kind enough to give us a Squier® Pete Wentz P Bass® guitar, A Gretsch® Patrick Stump STUMP-O-MATIC CVT guitar and a c&c Andy Hurley signature snare drum on the auction block. Once the auction is over, Patrick will match the winning bid and donate to the fund. On top of that, we are also auctioning off a signed guitar from The Cab, signed ORIGINAL lyrics to "I'll Run" that Alex DeLeon wrote in high school and 2 original art prints made by Butcher from The Academy Is.
You can read more about the situation and what you can do to help at helpmendaheart.com, and you can start bidding HERE.

Chicago Clan Landmark Holiday party is on Saturday night! I leave tomorrow night, and I still don’t have a jacket. Oofa.
Above is the exclusive Chicago Batheart necklace that will be available only at the Landmark store starting at the par-tay. It’s produced by Amanda at Right In The Family Jewels. And she rocks.
I’m excited to be coming to Chi, even without a jacket. Who’s with me?
Update - sorry, party is 6-10 PM.
PARTY SOON...
Our Clan Landmark party starts soon. And let’s make a deal….if you come, let’s talk. Like come up to me and let’s talk. About the clothes, what you want to see next collection, Jersey Shore, how old Regis Philbin is, etc. Whatever you want.
See you soon.
